Townsend's Solitaire
Myadestes
townsendi
Not recorded in Kitsap, Island, and lowland King Counties. In eastern King County, uncommon in higher-elevation forested areas, where pattern of scattered records nicely supports range predicted by Washington Gap report (Smith et al. 1997). Fairly common in Kittitas County in dry, open forested habitats at middle to high elevations. Townsend's Solitaires often build nests on soil banks along forest road cuts.
